Abelardo "Lalo" Rocha, 82, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Mr. Rocha is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria Rocha and Tomasa O. Rocha. He is survived by his wife of 57 years of marriage, Irene G. Rocha; children, Alberto (Inocencia) Rocha, Dora Rocha, Abelardo Rocha, Graciela (Rosbel) Muñoz, Maricela (Antonio) Espinoza, Abel (Claudia) Rocha, Veronica (Francisco) Vega, MaryAnn Rocha, and Irene Rocha; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jose Maria (Belia) Rocha, Ricardo Rocha, Henry Rocha, Estela (Reynaldo) Martinez, Tomasa (Ricardo) Cuellar, Alicia Garza and Araceli Rocha; as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 from the funeral home to San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rosbel Muñoz, Rosbel Muñoz, Jr., Lorenzo Maldonado, Gerardo Rocha, Abelardo Rocha, Jr. and Michael Sanchez.
