It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adalia Martinez Salazar, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 77, in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Noelia Salazar; granddaughter, Angela Janelle Salazar; parents, Jesus & Angelita Martinez; sister, Adelina Martinez; niece, Avelina Martinez.

Adalia is survived by her husband Rogelio Salazar, Sr.; children, Noel Salazar, Juan Jesus Salazar, Rogelio (Rosa Isela) Salazar, Yvette (Marcelino Jr.) Rodriguez, Conrado Salazar; grandchildren, Brieanna Salazar, Johnathan Michael Salazar, Marcy (David Luna) Salazar, Samantha (Hector Garza) Salazar, Karry (Alex Mireles) Salazar, Esmeralda Rodriguez, Marcelino Rodriguez III, Matthew Rodriguez, Mark Rodriguez, Jorge Rogelio Salazar (Christina), and Cassy Salazar; 19 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.

Adalia's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, faith. She will always be remembered for her generous heart and the joy she brought into the lives of others.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Adalia's life on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026 at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church (time pending), where we will honor her memory in a warm and loving atmosphere.

Cremation services will take place at a later date.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Adalia for the love she gave and the legacy she leaves behind. May her soul find peace, and may we carry forward her spirit of love and compassion in our own lives.

Rest in peace, Adalia; you will be dearly missed.
