Alfredo Vedarte Jr., 76, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Alfredo Vedarte; son, Alberto Vedarte; brothers, Paz Vedarte, and Pedro Vedarte; and granddaughter, Brandy Yvette Vedarte.

Alfredo is survived by his beloved wife, Soledad Vedarte; children, Joann Vedarte (Yoannet Diaz Perez), Joel Vedarte (Blanca Vedarte), Alfredo Vedarte III, Eduardo Gonzalez (Rosa Gonzalez), Ezequiel Gonzalez (Rocio Gonzalez), and Esteban Gonzalez (Melissa Gonzalez); grandchildren, Esteban Gonzalez Jr., Gigi Gonzalez, Deborah Gonzalez, Nieve Rebecca Gonzalez, Alejandro Gonzalez, Leslie Gonzalez, Vincent Padron Gonzalez, Yoannet Greyson Diaz, Dylan Villarreal, Reymundo Saucedo Jr., Zoey Vedarte, Chelsea Vedarte, Angela Vedarte, Naya Vedarte, Kenya Vedarte, and Juan Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Esteban Gonzalez III, Regina Cortez and Baby George; sisters, Maria Elena Harrison, and Maria Del Refugio Cisneros; as well as other family and friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church, located at 3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78040. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
