Alvaro Martinez, 74, was called by the Lord on Sunday, July 28, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jose G. and Benita R. Martinez, sister: Carmelita Martinez, brother: Pedro Martinez, nephew: Cristobal Martinez and niece: Marissa Alvarez. Left to cherish his memory are his bothers and sisters: Jose (+Olivia) Martinez, Carmen (+Jose) Salazar, Amelia (Manuel) Martinez, Raul (San Juanita) Martinez, Micaela (Tranquilino) Alvarez, Oscar (+Yolanda) Martinez, Genoveva Martinez and Rogelio Martinez, sister in law: Librada Martinez, 29 nieces and nephews, numerous great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, other relative and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, from 5pm to 9pm at Nieto Funeral Home and Crematory. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013, from the funeral home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Martinez, Raul Martinez, Oscar Martinez, Rogelio Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Manuel Martinez Jr., Carlos Jose Martinez and Sergio Salazar.
