Amador Antonio Martinez, 67, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2007. Mr. Martinez served in the United States Navy for two years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Amador Martinez and Antonia Salinas. Mr. Martinez is survived by his children: Amador A. (Rachel) Martinez, Jr. from Laredo, TX, Jose J. (Bobi Jo) Martinez from Corpus Christi, TX, Sandra Ann Davis from San Antonio, TX and Nora Jane Rubio from Corpus Christi, TX, grandchildren: Michael Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Jennifer Marie Martinez, Erin Ryann Martinez, Hunter Ashton Martinez, Mathew Rubio, Nicolas Rubio, Erik Rubio, Joshua Rubio, Ariel Rubio, Eloisa Davis, Rendon Davis and Olivia Davis, sisters and brother: Maria Hanson from Kentucky, Dolores (Adolfo) Vasquez from Del Rio, TX and Juan A. Martinez from Laredo, TX, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Martinez will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 4pm – 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Amador Martinez, Jr., Michael Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Jose J. Martinez, Wayne Hanson, Michael Hanson, Jonathon Martinez and Jobe Martinez. Full Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and US Flag Presentation by the US Navy out of Kingsville, TX.
