Andres “Andy” Ruiz, 59, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. Mr. Ruiz was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Ruiz and Elena P. Ruiz. He is survived by his wife of 25 years of marriage, Francisca M. Ruiz; children, Gerardo Lucero, Liz (Agustin Cortez) Lucero, Blanca (Rogelio) Zuniga, Claudia (Carlos) De La Rosa, Sandra (Ramiro) Bernal and Maira (Lazaro) Cisneros; 19 grandchildren including the 3 eldest; Thania, Natalia and Jerry; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Ignacio Ruiz, Alfredo (Osvelia) Ruiz; sisters, Elva (Miguel) Estrada and Luisa (Reynaldo) Garza. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 7:00 am to 11:30 am. A chapel service will begin at 9:00 am with Pastor Jesus Benavides officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Carlos De La Rosa, Gerardo Lucero, Ricardo Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Roberto Trevino and Higinio Trevino.
