Angel Roel Martinez, Sr., 77, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 4, 2018. Mr. Martinez worked as a butcher at Carlos Puente Meat Market for over 44 years. He enjoyed his free time with his family and playing the bass. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all.

Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his wife; Rosenda Martinez, his parents; Alfredo A. Martinez and Maria Martinez, and sister in law; Diana Martinez.

He is survived by his children; Angel Roel Martinez, Jr., Brenda Lee (Eduardo) San Miguel; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, brothers; Alfredo (Dora) Martinez and Pedro Martinez; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor Israel Tellez. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
