Anita G. Hernandez, 66, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at a local hospital. Mrs. Hernandez was born in North Dakota and had been a resident of Laredo all her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents Lilly O. Escobedo and Rodolfo Escobedo and daughter Ana M. Contreras. She is survived by her husband Lorenzo Hernandez and five children; Rosa M. Reyna, Lorenzo Hernandez, Jr., Elsa (Gabriel) Jimenez, Gregorio (Leticia) Hernandez and Carlos Hernandez. She is also survived by her; sisters, Rebecca (Mike) Lopez and Maria Luisa (Mario) Garcia; brother, Tony Escobedo along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all the ICU Staff at Doctors Hospital for all their care and support. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Nieto Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke.
