Anna Elizabeth Vargas, 44, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Mrs. Vargas was preceded in death by her father, Clemente Cerda and brother, Manuel Cerda. She is survived by; husband, Gilberto Vargas; children, Anabelle Vargas, Mayra A. Vargas, Gilberto Vargas and Andrea L. Vargas; mother, Irma Cerda; brothers and sisters, Juan (Guadalupe) Cerda, Clemente (Elvia+) Cerda, Irma R. Cerda, Gabino (Cristina) Cerda and Gilberto (Yolanda) Cerda; grandchildren; nieces; nephews and other relatives. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 5pm-8pm at Nieto Funeral Home and Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm by Deacon Jose Rodriguez. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 31, 2013, from the funeral home to San Agustin Cathedral where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:300am by Fr. Joel Perez. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gilberto Vargas, Gilberto Cerda, Gabino Cerda, Clemente Cerda, Benito Zamora and Cesar Cerda.
