Armando A. Juarez passed away into the hands of God on September 30, 2012. Mr. Juarez was born on February 19, 1932 in Laredo, Texas. He graduated from Martin High School with the class of 1950. He worked for Central Power and Light Company for 42 years where he was nicknamed by his fellow co-workers and close friends as “Double AJ”. Mr. Juarez was a volunteer public affairs constable for Pct. 4 under his brother, Tino Juarez. He was a very good friend, father, husband, brother and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Teodoro and Aurora Saenz Juarez; brothers, Andres T. Juarez, Sr., Arnoldo E. Juarez, Ted Juarez, Jr. and Tino Juarez. He is survived by his former wife, Socorro B. (Colleen) Juarez and their children, Diana (Eduardo) Davila, Nora (Roberto) Manzo, Judy Mendoza, Jessica (Efrain) Laurel, Jr. and Armando A. (Priscilla) Juarez, Jr. He is also survived by his wife, Carmela V. Juarez and son Johnathan “JJ” Juarez; sisters, Aurora J. Lambert, Angela (Benito+) Juarez, Virginia J. Garcia; sister in law, Raquel Juarez; step-son, Pedro (Diana) Villarreal; step-daughter, Nelly (Joel) Gueta; grandsons; granddaughters; great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. His ever presence of good natured and sincere friendliness will be greatly missed. Honoring his wishes, Mr. Juarez was cremated and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at San Martin De Porres Church.
