Armando Garza, 68, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 12, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Marina Garza; son, Leonel D. Garza; siblings, Maria Garza, Esperanza Gonzalez, Alicia Garza, and Guadalupe Garza.

Armando is survived by his beloved wife, Nidia Garza; children, Christine Garza, Melissa Luna (Jose), and Armando Garza Jr. (Brenda); 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rosaura "Chawa" Villarreal, Anselmo "Chemo" Garza, Irma Scriber, Rosa Garza, Raymundo Garza, Marylou Garza, Cristina Reyes; as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss him.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the funeral home chapel where a service will start at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.

The family asked that no black or mourning colors be worn, please wear white in celebration of his life.
