Ascencion Salinas, 97, passed away, Sunday, June 26, 2022.

Mrs. Salinas is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Salinas; parents, Francisco (Belen) Ortiz; daughter, Gabriela Guadalupe Salinas; siblings, Mauricia Ortiz, Belen Ortiz and Pedro Ortiz.

She is survived by children, Jose Manuel Salinas, Marco Antonio (Celia) Salinas, Hilda (Adrian) Macias, Marisela (Manuel) Cardenas, Norma Salinas Lemos and Ismael (Maria Elena) Salinas; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
