Aureliano Gomez, 76, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013. Mr. Gomez is survived by his wife, Juanita Gomez; children, Cecilia (Fernando Hernandez) Rangel, Felipe de Jesus (Rosy Ortiz) Gomez, Alejandra (Aurelio Leija) Gomez, Nicolas (Juany Ramirez) Gomez, San Juana Gomez, Maria (Antonio) Trujillo and Cleopetra (Efrain Batres) Gomez; 24 grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to San Luis Rey Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Felipe De Jesus Gomez, Nicolas Gomez, Jorge Rangel, Adrian Rangel, Arnulfo Rangel, Angel Gomez, Jose Antonio Trujillo, Jr. and Efren Batres.
