Obituary For Avelicia Perez

Avelicia Perez, 52, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 31, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Samuel Perez; father, Jose Bruno Francisco Castañon; sister, Maria Dolores Castañon.

Avelicia is survived by her children, Marissa Annette Otero (Juan Jose), Roberto Samuel Perez Jr. (Diana), Mayra Denise Perez, and Sandra Perez; mother, Avelicia Benavides Castañon; granddaughter, Kaeli Andrea Otero; siblings, Adriana Solis (Joaquin), Jose Bruno Castañon (Karina), Carlos David Castañon (Rosaura), and Gabriela Arteaga (Juan); as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Gerson Salazar will begin a service at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will continue on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the funeral home chapel where a service will start at 10:30 am. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Roberto Samuel Perez Jr., Juan Jose Otero, Carlos David Castañon, Fernando Ramirez, Aaron Ramirez, Joaquin Solis, and Juan Arteaga.
