Obituary For Barry Earle Bernier

Barry Earle Bernier, age 80, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward E. Bernier; mother, Ruth E. Bernier, sister, Bevely R. Lugar, and son, Bradley E. Bernier.

Mr. Bernier is survived by his beloved wife, Adriana R. Bernier; children, Brett M. Bernier, Brian M. Bernier, Sofia Estevis, Luis Alonso Estevis Jr. (Jennifer Torres), Jose Luis Estevis (Kassandra Estevis), Luis Alfredo Estevis, and Ariana Estevis, as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss him.

Barry was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At a young age he enrolled and became a proud member of the US Marine Corps. He considered himself blessed to have served his country and was honorably discharged as a 1st Sergeant, after 23 years of service.

Brett Bernier, Luis Alonso Estevis Jr., Jose Luis Estevis, Luis Alfredo Estevis, Luis Gonzalez, and Thomas Lopez will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive guests on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 5: 00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funerals & Cremations Services. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. A funeral mass will start at 10:00 am.

Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion, Post 59 Honor Guard.

Cremations services to be at a later date.

    Adriana & Family, We were heartbroken to hear about the passing of Barry. Barry was a valued family friend for over 40 years . He was someone you could count on during your time of need. I will always be grateful for the kindness he showed my family and the care he provided for my mother during her illness. He will be truly missed but will always hold a special place in our hearts.
