Benito Parra, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 23, 2018.

Mr. Parra was a proud United States Army veteran who served our country with much admiration.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael (Antonia H.) Parra; son, Benjamin R. Parra and sister, Maria Trinidad Alonzo.

Mr. Parra is survived by his loving wife of 47 years of marriage, Maria Luisa Parra; children, Benito (Aracely) Parra, Jr., Irma R. (Roberto) Becerra and Angelica (Ricardo) Quijano; grandchildren, Abraham X. Becerra, Abigail M. Becerra, Amanda D. Quijano, Alexis X. Becerra and Samantha A. Quijano; great-grandchildren, Aritza N. Lomeli and Jose F. Lomeli; siblings, Simona Parra, Isabel P. Canales, Sara P. Fasci, Irma P. Patterson, Ramon Parra, Gloria P. Villarreal, Graciela P. Mendoza and Rene R. Parra, as well as numerous family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018, from the funeral home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
