Blas Davila, 81, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011. Mr. Davila is preceded in death by his grandson, Alberto Davila, Jr. and grandfather, Onofre Davila. He is survived by his; son, Alberto (Marissa) Davila; mother, Maria G. Davila; sisters, Dora Davila, Yolanda (Jose) Hernandez, Genoveva Gonzalez and Maria De Los Angeles Renteria; grandchildren, Joaquin Davila, Alexandra Davila and Rachell Davila. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Norma Renteria, Leonard Renteria Mario Renteria and Liza Renteria. Family would like to extend special thanks to Regent Care Center, Dr. Milton Haber, Laredo Specialty Hospital and Ambulance Services of Laredo. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 with a visitation from 8:00 am to 10:00 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A chapel service will begin at 10:00 am with Evangelist Carlos Atherton officiating. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Cesar Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Leo Vasquez, Refugio Gonzalez, Alberto Davila and Joaquin Davila.
