Clemente "Cleme" Martinez, Jr., 68, entered into eternal rest, Friday, July 26, 2019. Mr. Martinez proudly served in the U.S Army for six years. He is preceded in death by his parents; Clemente Martinez, Sr and Consuelo P. Martinez and brother, Eduardo Martinez.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years of marriage; Minerva Martinez; children, Leticia Martinez, Melissa Martinez (Hector) Ortiz, Yolanda (Eliud) Elizondo; grandchildren, Kristina, Kasandra, Samantha, Sixto, Nicole, E.J. and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Adan and Addy; siblings, Irma Reyes, Consuelo Aguirre, Candelaria Sugden, Martha Dillard, Amelia Moncivais and Nora Guajardo; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 2, 2019 from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Eliud Elizondo, Hector Ortiz, Sixto Salinas, Eddie Arizola, Roberto Reyes, Jr., and Raul Aguirre.
