Concepcion Chavez, 79, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at a local hospital. Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by her husband; Roberto Chavez, sons; Roberto Chavez, Jr. and Juan Jose Chavez, daughter; Graciela Chavez, parents; Santos (Maria I.) Chavarria, and brother; Santos Chavarria, Jr. She is survived by her beloved children; Jesus (Maria Isabel) Chavez and Alicia (Jose) Rodriguez, grandchildren,; Jose (Roxanne) Rodriguez, Gerardo Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Elena Concepcion (Angel) Arteaga, Jesus (Kazzandra) Chavez, Jr., Graciela I. Chavez, Jessica K. Chavez and Robert J. Chavez, 8 great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.
