Obituary For Concepcion "Connie" Acevedo
On Tuesday August 18, 2020 Concepcion “Connie” Acevedo, was called to be with our Lord and Savior. Connie was 95 and passed peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Laredo, Texas on December 9, 1924 to the late Camilo and Maria Eulalia Espinoza-Martinez. She was a longtime resident and parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Laredo, Texas. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all of her family, friends, and all those who came to know her. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Juliana, Ramon, Jesusa, Maria, Antonio, Camilo, and two grandsons.
She leaves behind two daughters Anita (Patrick) and Rose. She has eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren plus extended family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ildefonso Flores and caregivers for many years of care.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to Blessed Sacrament Adoration Chapel.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, August 24, 2020 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Honoring her wishes, Mrs. Acevedo will be cremated.
Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.
