CRISPINA VASQUEZ TAMEZ Crispina Vasquez Tamez entered into eternal rest Friday, December 16th, 2011 at the age of 92. Mrs. Tamez was born December 5th, 1919 in Bridgeport, Texas to Juliana Martinez and Severo Vasquez. She retired from Retama Manor West Nursing Center in April 2002 after 32 years of service at the age of 83. She was the most generous and giving person to everyone whose life she touched. Mrs. Tamez was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She lived her life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all especially her loved ones. Mrs. Tamez was preceded in death by her mother; Juliana Martinez, father; Severo Vasquez, husband; Juan L. Tamez, daughter; Anita T. Gonzalez, son; Luis V. Tamez, grandsons; Armando Gonzalez and Gerardo Gonzalez, sisters and brothers-in-law; Juanita (Lazaro) V. Gonzalez, Carmen (Pedro) V. Gonzalez and Guadalupe V. Castañeda, brothers; Severo Vasquez and Servando Vasquez. She is survived by her son; Juan Teodoro Tamez, son-in-law; Alfredo Gonzalez, daughter-in-law; Ruby Tamez, brother; Teodoro (Graciela) Vasquez, sister; Francisca Reyes, grandchildren; Christina (Jose M.) Gamez, Jr., Alfredo (Patricia) Gonzalez, Jr., Alberto Gonzalez, Ruby Christine (Alejandro) Flores, Louise Victoria (Guillermo) Lopez, Jr., and Leah Tamez, 11 great-grandchildren; Jose Alfredo Gamez, Jessica (Jose Alfredo) Ramos, Jr., Alfredo Gonzalez, III, Armando Gonzalez, Alexis Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez, Jr., Alejandro Gonzalez, Andres Gerardo Gonzalez, Ruby Isabella Flores, Mateo Alejandro Flores and Luis Guillermo Lopez, 3 great-great grandchildren; Jose Alfredo Gamez, Jr., Annie Amelia Garcia and Jose Alfredo Ramos, III. Also surviving Mrs. Tamez are her granddaughter-in-law; Duvina F. Gonzalez and great granddaughter; Dayna L. Morales. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy mass will commence at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Alejandro Flores, Guillermo Lopez, Jr., Jose Alfredo Gamez, Alberto Gonzalez, Andres Gerardo Gonzalez, Armando Gonzalez, Alexis Gonzalez and Jose Alfredo Ramos, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be; Alfredo Gonzalez, III.
