Cruz Elena Garza, 90, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino (Herlinda) Hernandez and all brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years of marriage, Refugio Garza; children, Juan Manuel (Eudelia) Garza, Ricardo (Gloria) Garza, Jose Garza, Maria Lourdes (Gerardo) Rodriguez, Alberto Garza and Arisela (Jesus Antonio) Barrera; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Luisa Perales, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, from the funeral home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery.
