David Benito “Elvis” Rodriguez was called upon the Lord on June 26th. He was born in San Antonio, TX on August 21, 1953 and resided in Laredo all of his life. Mr. Rodriguez worked as a CNA at both Doctor’s Hospital and Laredo Medical Center (Mercy) for numerous years. He was preceded in death by his late father, Jesus Polanco Rodriguez and his late mother Celestina Torres Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife Dora Mirtha D. Rodriguez from Laredo, his daughters; Dora Sally R. (Jorge) Morales of San Antonio, Naomi Ivana R. (David) De Santiago of Laredo, grandchildren; Oliver Munoz, Jr., Jazmine A. Munoz, Ashley A. I. De Santiago and Devlin C. De Santiago, brothers and sisters; Jesse (Evelyn) Rodriguez of Houston, Maria Rodriguez (Timmy Gomez), Evangelina Rodriguez of Houston, Manuel (Ofelia) Rodriguez of San Antonio, Teresa R. Levine and Lupe R. Garcia of San Antonio, numerous friends and other relatives. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, July 11, 2008 at the City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
