Surrounded by his children and grandchildren, Demetrio "Pilo" Vasquez, 67, was called by the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2015. He was born in Mexico and lived most of his life in California. Demetrio "Pilo" Vasquez dedicated his life to agriculture. He was a great father and excellent grandfather. He will be missed by his children and grandchildren. Mr. Vasquez is survived by his children; Maria Elena (Jose Maria) Ibarra, Noel (Esmeralda) Vasquez, Esmeralda (Candido) Mendoza, Jose Manuel (Mayra) Vasquez, Juanito Jose (Giovanna) Vasquez and Banesa Christina (Roberto) Balderama; 29 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and the mother of his children, Maria Rafaela Perez. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
