Diana Sanchez Vela, 74, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, January 11, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Sanchez & Olga Garcia; son, Armando Vela; brothers, Jose Luis Sanchez Jr., and Reynaldo Sanchez; sister, Rosa Sanchez.

Diana is survived by her husband, Agustin Vela Sr.; children, Agustin Vela Jr. (Kendy), Gilberto Vela, Ana Laura Vela, and Jose Santos; sisters, Veronica Vera, and Antonieta Camarillo (Sergio); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

The Vela family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5: 00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church. The Funeral mass will start at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Vela Cemetery in Rio Bravo, Texas.
