Dionicio Zapata, 79, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009. Mr. Zapata is survived by his former wife; Irene Zapata, children; Dionicio Zapata, Jr. and Migdalia (+Alberto) Ramos all of Laredo, grandchildren; Dionicio Zapata, III, David Damian Zapata, Daniel Zapata and Alberto Ramos, Jr., great-granddaughter; Samantha Lynn Zapata. Visitation will be today, Monday, March 2, 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
