Dolores “Lolita” De La Garza, 66, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2006. Mrs. De La Garza was preceded in death by her husband, Cayetano J. De La Garza; parents, Servando and Dolores Benavides; and brother, Servando Benavides, III. She is survived by; daughters, Angie De La Garza and Clarissa De La Garza ; sister, Diana Soliz; sister in law, Guadalupe Benavides; brother and sister in law, Manuel (Inez) DeLlano and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Dickey Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am at Saint Peters Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St. Augustine Elementary Library located at 1200 Galveston Laredo, Texas 78040. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
