Dominga Cardenas Gomez, 69, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentin “Tile” Gomez, Jr. and her parents; Tiburcio and Cayetana Cardenas. Her five children survive Mrs. Gomez: Irma (Jose) Aguirre of Laredo, Rosalinda (Ramiro) Torres of San Antonio, Javier (Diana) Gomez of Laredo, Jaime (Maribel) Gomez of Laredo, Raquel (David) De La Rosa of Laredo, Brother: Geronimo (Guillermina) Cardenas, Jaime Gomez Jr. a very dear and special grandson and companion for ten years, 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive their love ones and friends to share memories on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 from 4-9 pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
