Dora Escamilla, 59, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Mrs. Escamilla loved to tend to her garden, read and listen to music. She is survived by her husband of 39 years of marriage, Juan Manuel Escamilla, children; Juanita Yesenia Escamilla Deliganis, Joe Gerardo (Yesenia) Escamilla and Juan Manuel (Maria) Escamilla, Jr., grandchildren; Jose Maria (Maria De Jesus) Orive of Los Fresnos, Josefina (+George) Cruz of Brownsville, Domingo (Judy) Oribe of Brownsville, Raul (Rosa) Oribe of Aurora, ILL., Eduardo (Carmen) Oribe of Elgin, ILL and Sylvia (Rick) Castillo of Brownsville. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. Prayer service will be officiated at 7:00 pm.
