Dr. Rodolfo de Los Santos

April 12, 1935 – January 6, 2024

On January 6, 2024, el dia de Los Santos Reyes, the Lord called upon our beloved tío Rudy to join him in heaven.

Rodolfo was a proud citizen having dutifully served as a United States Marine during the Korean Era.

Rudy obtained a Bachelor of Arts teaching degree from the University of Texas and subsequently earned his masters and doctorate in education from the Texas Arts and Industries (A&I) University at Kingsville, formerly South Texas State Teachers College. After a brief teaching stint in Chicago, Illinois, Rudy embarked on a teaching career which included Hebbronville and Farias Elementary in Laredo where he ended his 35-year career dedicated to his beloved students in special education classes.

Rodolfo is preceded in death by his parents Sotero and Conception (Salinas) De Los Santos, by his beloved brothers and sisters Manuel De Los Santos, Roberto De Los Santos, Emilia Ernestina De Los Santos-Hale and Blanca De Los Santos-Reyna.

He is survived by many nephews and nieces including his beloved nephew and caregiver Oscar Jesus Hale, Sr.

A private service will be held to honor his request.
