Edelmiro Peña, 90 passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, alongside his loving wife of 75 years, and his oldest daughter. He was a strong, loving, and hardworking husband and father.

He is preceded in death by his parents, +Gerardo Peña and +Lucia Rios de Peña, Sisters: +Aurora (Jesus ) Castillo, +Angelita (Manuel) Lucio, Brother: +Felipe Peña.

Mr. Peña is survived by his wife Dora Uvalle de Peña, Children: Maria Luisa Peña, Artemio (Guadalupe) Peña, San Juanita (Alfredo) Equigua, Yvonne (Ricardo) Peña Andrade. Grand Children: Jessica Marie (Eloy) Almanza del Barrio, Art (Alejandra) Peña, Yvette (Richard) Peña Gomez, Vanessa Equigua, Valerie Equigua , Alfredo Equigua, Jr. Vivian Andrade, Ricky Andrade., and 9 Great Grand Children.

He is also survived by his sisters: Bertha (+Manuel) Garcia, Maria G de Jesus (+ Ramon) Abrego,

Mr. Edelmiro Peña will be missed tremendously by all his nephews and nieces from Laredo, Texas, San Antonio, Texas, Dallas, Texas Monterrey, Nuevo Leon: Bustamante, Nuevo Leon, and Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon. He will also be missed by all the friends he made while working at River Drive Mall, and by all those who would pass by the house and he would immediately make friends with.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 from the funeral home to San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
