Obituary For Eleuterio Hernandez

Eleuterio Hernandez, Sr., 74, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents; Napoleon and Gregoria Hernandez, siblings; Ignacio Hernandez, Margarita Hernandez, Casimiro Hernandez, Encarnacion Hernandez, Napoleon Hernandez, and Antonio Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years of marriage; Maria Moreno Hernandez, children; Eleuterio (Olivia) Hernandez, Jr., Fernando (Griselda) Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Blanca Estela Hernandez, Bertha Ester (Jeremy) Shriver; 7 grandchildren, siblings; Lazaro Hernandez, Guadalupe (Kathy) Hernandez, Eudocio Hernandez, Tomasa (Rolando) Kypuros, and Juana Hernandez; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss him.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Nieto Funeral Home where a chapel service will be officiated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Laredo City Cemetery.

    Eleuterio (or pelon) as I always called him was one of the most gentle person that I knew. If there ever was an argument he would step right in and told you that it was not right to argue. He was an honorable man and I had great respect for him. And as I was not raised with the rest of the family Brown always made sure to include me in. And for that I will always be grateful all the rest of my life. Rest in peace my Brother. I will miss your callsj .
