Elias Chavez, 71, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his parents; Trinidad Zepeda and Isabel Aldana Zepeda, brothers; Roberto Zepeda and Ruben Zepeda. He is survived by his wife; Graciela Chavez, son; Sergio Elias Chavez, siblings; Rudy (Alma) Zepeda, Joe Mike Zepeda, Trinidad Zepeda Jr., Jo Ann Zepeda and Emma Zepeda. Visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2014, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Sergio Chavez, Ruben Juarez, Jose Raul Juarez, Gerardo Ramirez, Eleuterio Mendez, Ricardo Mendez, Pablo Muñoz III and Erik Peña.
