Eloy Martinez, 59, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Laredo, Texas. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Wayne Testerman, Alvaro Lucio, Ricardo Pena, Arturo Navarro, Jr., Emilio Navarro, Heriberto Navarro, Jr., Jorge Martinez and Eduardo Gutierrez. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and the U.S. Army Flag Detail. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
