Elvia Martinez, 49, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 24, 2007. Mrs. Martinez was a disciplined and very sociable person who loved to shop. Among her other mannerism, she was very tidy. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband: Juan Roberto Martinez, daughter: Elvia Patricia Esquivel, sons: Izequiel Esquivel, Jr. and Roberto Martinez, granddaughter: Dianna Alexandra Esquivel, sister: Dora Elisa Lopez all from Laredo. Visitation was held Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 1pm – 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be today, Monday, February 26, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Saint Jude Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Izequiel Esquivel, Jr., Elias Chavez, Juan Roberto Martinez, Alberto Gutierrez, Roberto Martinez and Oscar Martinez.
