Elvira F. Cardenas, 87, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008. Mrs. Cardenas was preceded in death by her husband; Arcadio Cardenas and daughter-in-law; Juanita Cardenas. She is survived by her children; Ernestina (Ramon) Gonzalez, Delia (Raul) Herber, Arcadio (Veronica) Cardenas, Jr., Enedina (Francisco) Sanchez, Amelia (Felipe) Govea, Anselmo (Romana) Cardenas, Raul Cardenas, Nora (Charles) Maynard and Ramiro Cardenas, 36 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, sister; Consuelo (+Arnulfo) Flores and brother; Gilberto (Ofelia) Farias. The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Victor Trevino. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory to Holy Redeemer Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 10 am.
