He was born on July 11, 1933 to Rodolfo and Victoria Gonzalez and lived most of his life in East Chicago, Indiana and Laredo, Texas. He was an amazing and loving father, grandfather and friend. He will always live in our hearts. Mr. Gonzalez served in the Army from 1950-1953, was a Korean War Veteran who was awarded three bronze stars. We would like to thank Dr. Mateo Reyes and his staff, CMV Home Health and his nurse Aida Mendiola, and Hope Dialysis Center for all their care and support. John 11:25-26, Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die and whoever lives by believing in me will never die".

Honoring his wishes, Mr. Gonzalez will be cremated. Graveside services and military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Laredo City Cemetery.

Condolences

  • August 01, 2016

Reciban nuestras condolencias.

God saw you tired, and a cure was not to be. So, he put his arms around you, and whispered "Come to me". Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. Henry, you will forever remain in my thoughts/memories. It was a pleasure to have met such an amazing person. You are home... Aida Mendiola
