Obituary For Esperanza Quintanilla

Esperanza Quintanilla, 96, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 19, 2015. Mrs. Quintanilla passed away in Brownsville, TX Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Mrs. Quintanilla is preceded in death by her husband; Jose G. Quintanilla, sons; Jose Leonardo Quintanilla and Luis Carlos Quintanilla, son-in-law; Danny Garza, Daughter-in-law; Domitila Quintanilla and her grandson; Alex Quintanilla. She is survived by her children; Graciela Cardenas, Alejandro (Josefina) Quintanilla, Teresa Garza, Francisco Javier (Antonieta) Quintanilla, Veronica (Celso Xavier) Machado, Claudia (Conrado) Serna, Hugo Ivan (Diana) Quintanilla, Enrigue Tomas (Rosa) Quintanilla, Zita I. (Tony) Vela, Norman Issac Quintanilla (Anna) Rosita (David) Navarro and daughter-in-law; Margarita Quintanilla Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Sergio Quintanilla, Hugo Quintanilla, Luis Maldonado, Hector Quintanilla, Oscar Guerra and Joel Quintanilla. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.

    Sentimos mucho la perdida de su ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo Dios nos promete que eliminará las enfermedades para siempre, en Isaías 33:24 dice que llegara el día en que nadie dirá "estoy enfermo". Además eliminará la muerte, en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios limpiara toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no será mas". Y por último en Hechos 24:15 dice que "va ha haber una resurreccion". Ósea nuestro amoroso creador Jehova Dios tiene el deseo de devolverles la vida a nuestros seres queridos que han muerto.

    Great grandma was a wonderful person. My love to my mother in law and family during this time. I too remember grandma's smile. She's smiling at all of us from heaven. I just know it.

    My sincerest condolences to the family, Claudia.Tere. Bryan, Zita. And all the others. Since I didn't see the obituary till today. I'm home bound due to a 'Stroke'... I buried the last of my family, Fidel (Pilo), back on February. My prayer and strength, to all of you during this difficult time .
