Esteban Martinez, 79, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011. Mr. Martinez is preceded in by his parents; Merced & Dionicia Martinez, brother; Martin Martinez and sister; Hermerehilola Soto. Esteban Martinez is survived by his wife; Gloria I. Martinez, children; Leonor (Fernando) Ortiz, Gloria Estela (Rene) Lara, Ma. Guadalupe (Oscar) Madrid, stepchildren; Ma. Del Carmen (Fort) Mireles, Rosa Olivia (Armando) Garza, Flavio (Mari) Lopez, Graciela, Juan Antonio, Dora Alicia, Alonso, Carmen, Juany, numerous grandchildren and many other family members. The family will be receiving friends and family on Monday, March 14, 2011, from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary recited at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Merced Martinez, Rene Lara Jr., Alonso Vitela, Fernando Ortiz, Oscar Madrid, Fort Mireles, Armando Garza, and Flavio Lopez.
