Ms. Ester Lara passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the age of 75 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leandro Lara & Santos Zavala, brothers Jose and Leandro M. Lara, sister Isabel L. Garza, aunt Sofia C. Zavala, and her grandmother Maria de la Luz Zavala.

Ester is survived by her niece and nephew, Maria L. Arriaga, Juan G. Lara (Nora E.); sister-in-law, Bertha Lara; as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 am. Cremation services will occur at a later date.
