Obituary For Esther Judy Vela
Esther Judy Vela, 59, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Vela was preceded in death by her father and mother Johnny and Mary Ortiz; brothers, Orlando Velasquez and Eugenio Velasquez; sister, Angela Ortiz; brother-in-law, Gregorio Ibarra. She is survived by her husband; Ruben Vela of 36 years of marriage, children; Jorge Antonio Ortiz, Catalina Cecilia (Juan) Solis, Angela Yvette Garza Vela and Cecilio (Joanna) Garza, III, 16 Grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Pasqual "Mike" Ortiz, Beatrice Ibarra, Diana (Benjamin) Acuña and Bernadette (Jose) Guerra, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10 am at the Vela Ranch Cemetery in Rio Bravo, Texas. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St.
