Obituary For Federico Pablo Calderon

Federico Pablo Calderon “Tuti”, 73, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Mr. Calderon graduated in 1955 from San Agustin High School. He retired from Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana after 35 years of service. Mr. Calderon loved to fish, repair cars and watch movies. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Mr. Calderon was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Eddie Torres, III; sisters, Ernestina Calderon and Maria De Los Angeles Soliz. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lucia Medina Calderon of Laredo, Texas; sons, Federico Calderon, Jr. of Merrillville, IN and Armando Calderon of San Antonio; daughter, Lucy (Refugio) Rodriguez of San Antonio; grandchildren, Tony, Tina, Erica, Federico, III, Anita, Martin, Michael, Jason and Jennifer; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. Calderon will be greatly missed by all whose heart he touched. Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 from 4pm to 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 9am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.

    Our prayers are with you. Thanksgiving for the Life of Federico Pablo Calderon Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us all with the gift of his earthly life and He has given this to our brother, Federico Calderon his span of years and gifts of character. God our Father, we thank you now for all his life, for every memory of love and joy, for every good deed done by him and every sorrow shared with us. We thank You for his life; we thank You for the rest in Christ he now enjoys, we thank You for giving him to us, we thank You for the glory we shall share together. Hear our prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

    Dear Aunt Lucy, Mando, Lucy and Freddy, My family and I are deeply sorry for your loss.
