Felipe Rivera, Sr., 63, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Mr. Rivera was preceded in death by his parents; Felix (Candelaria) Rivera. He is survived by his wife; Cira Rivera, children; Rocio R. (+Lauro P.) Valdez, Maribel (Ruben) Raya, Felipe (Vivian) Rivera, Jr., Candelaria (Jose) Gonzalez, Felix G. Rivera, Ruben Rivera, Rebecca G. Rivera, Anabel Rivera, Isabel Rivera and Rogelio Rivera, brothers and sisters; Rogelio (Nelly) Rivera, Ruben Rivera, Alonzo (Raquel) Rivera, Rebecca Rivera and Raquel Rivera, 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home, 802 Coke St.
