Florencio Contreras, 83, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, September 27, 2020. Mr. Contreras is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Contreras and Maria Contreras and sister, San Juana Contreras.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years of marriage, Graciela Contreras; children, Maria Lydia (Terry) LeBlanc, Arturo Contreras, Norma Idalia (David Perales) Rodriguez and Armando (Sonia) Contreras; grandchildren, Ian LeBlanc, Christopher LeBlanc, Jason LeBlanc, Monica Contreras, Arturo Contreras, Jr., Kristina Contreras, Jose Eduardo Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Melissa Rodriguez, Armando Contreras, Jr., Adrian Contreras and Valeria Denise Contreras; great-grandchildren, Alexander Xavier Contreras, Daniel Contreras, Arturo Adan Contreras, Jaden Santiago Castro, Mariana Castro and Amy Rodriguez; siblings, Agustin Contreras, Preciliano Contreras, Isabel Tobias, Martha Reyna and Elvira Rios; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss him. Family wishes to express their gratitude to the ICU Nurses at Laredo Medical Center especially Melissa, Betsy and Debbie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Cremation services will be held at a later date.
