Florentina Gomez, 89, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her husband Florentino Gomez and her brother Paz Rocha. Mrs. Gomez was a very caring and loving person. She was loved by all her family and will be remembered forever. She is survived by her; children, Miguel Gomez of San Antonio, Reynaldo (Gloria) Gomez and Olga Gomez both of Laredo; sisters, Maria Hernandez, Juanita Valdez both of San Antonio and Consuelo Rodriguez of Milwaukee; also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at Nieto Dickey Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 from Nieto Dickey Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nieto Dickey Funeral Home 802 Coke St.
