Francisca Socorro Ramirez, 91, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 9, 2016. Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her husband, Lisandro Ramirez and grandson, Gilbert Chavez.

Mrs. Ramirez had been a lifelong resident of Laredo. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She is survived by her only daughter Mary Chavez of Laredo; granddaughter Margie (Frank) Alegria of Laredo; grandson Gabriel (Anne) Chavez of Dallas, Texas and the late Gilbert Chavez. Grandchildren; Brittany Chavez, Taylor Sharp, Tiffany Leonard, Frankie Algeria, Anthony Chavez and Kiara Alegria; two great grand children; as well as other family members that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday 11, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory where a rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 12, 2016, from the funeral home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 08:30 am. Interment will follow immediately in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
