Francisco “Coco” Ramos, Jr., 82, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Mr. Ramos liked to cook out with family and friends. He enjoyed drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. Mr. Ramos was preceded in death by his parents: Francisco Ramos and Damiana Guerrero, sister: San Juana Fuentes and brother: Ambrosio Ramos. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Josefa Ramos, daughters: Maria Del Jesus (Reynaldo) Sanchez, Olga (Gregorio) Garcia, Rosaura (Genaro) Zambrano and Veronica (Clemente) Camarillo, sons: Francisco (Maria) Ramos, Jr., Alfredo (Gracie) Ramos, Elias (Sylvia) Ramos, Hugo Ramos, Jorge (Ana) Ramos, Mario (Orfilia) Ramos and Martin Ramos all from Laredo, 35 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mr. Ramos will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 4pm – 9pm at Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007 from Nieto-Dickey Funeral Home to Blessed Sacrament Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.
