Obituary For Francisco Salazar

Francisco Salazar, 74, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Mr. Salazar was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served his Country.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ascencion & Victoria Salazar; brothers, Luis Salazar, and Felix Salazar.

Francisco is survived by his children, Frank Salazar, Jose Luis Sanchez(+), Andy Sanchez (Dayana L.), Monica Sanchez (Ruben Garza), and Rudy Sanchez (Janie Vasquez); grandchildren, Lyssa Lizette Sanchez, Jose Luis De La Rosa, Alyssa Yamilet Sanchez, Roy Francisco Sanchez, Francisco Andrés Sánchez Jr., Alejandro Sanchez, Andy Yael Sanchez, Luis Andrés Sánchez, Rudy Sanchez Jr., Kayla Marie Sanchez, Luis Angel Sánchez, Jaylyn Sanchez, Anthony Ramos Jr., Frankie Salazar, Alyssa Salazar, Mia Salazar; siblings; Fidela (Rogelio) Landeros, Manuel (Graviela) Salazar, Raul (Lydia) Salazar, Yolanda (Jose Luis) Gomez, Maria Luisa (Juan) Vargas, Ricardo (Sandra) Salazar, Monsignor Alejandro Salazar, Juan Ruben (Adriana) Salazar, Virginia (Federico) Vargas, Diana (Gilberto) Garcia, Christina (Martin Alberto) Contreras; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins; as well as other family and friends who will greatly miss him

The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Nieto Funerals & Cremations from 8:00 am to 10:30 am when the funeral procession will depart the funeral home for a 11:00 am funeral Mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 of Laredo and Presentation of the U.S. Flag will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
