Gaudencia Vasquez, 74, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009. Mrs. Vasquez was preceded in death by her parents; Estanislado (Felipa) Salazar, sister; Amelia Chavarria and brother; Arturo Salazar. She is survived by her husband of 44 years of marriage, Ildefonso Vasquez, Jr., children; San Juanita (Jeff) Chandler, Esther (Tracey) Tribolet of Ft. Wayne, IND, Maria De Jesus (Joe) Vasquez and Raul (Linda) Vasquez of Laredo, grandchildren; Keith, Bri-Anna and Brandon Chandler, Matias and Amber Tribolet all of Ft. Wayne, IND., Armando, Jr. Amanda, Ignacio, Roman, Kaylee and Krystal Vasquez, Abigail, Ana and Kenya Perez all of Laredo, brothers and sisters; Carolina Galvan, Gloria Salazar, Altagracia Salazar, Rosa Rodriguez, Nativida Garcia, Israel Salazar and Luis Salazar all of Laredo. Visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory with a prayer service held at 7 pm. Pastor Jimmy Buford of Laredo Christian Church will be officiating. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 19, 2009 at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory. A chapel service will be held at 9 am. Interment will follow to Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
