Obituary For Gicela Zapata

Gicela Zapata, 48, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Ms. Zapata is survived by her children; Sofia Ailyn Navarro and Sarahi Alejandra Navarro, father of her children; Hector A. Navarro, parents; Gilberto and Guadalupe Zapata and brother; Gilberto (Deborah) Zapata, Jr.; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 31, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from the funeral home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Nieto Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 Coke St. Laredo, TX 78040. Condolences can be expressed to the family online at www.nietofuneral.com.
